Career-change courses: what's running now

Our only career-change course open for applications is the free Data Skills Bootcamp in Oxfordshire. Applications for the Oxford cohort starting on 16 November close on 30 October. After that date nothing is open until a new cohort is announced here, but you can register interest in London and the Applied Diplomas.

Oxford Data Skills Bootcamp

  • Interviews run from 26 October to 6 November; offers go out by Friday 6 November.
  • It runs from Monday 16 November to Friday 5 February, with a two-week Christmas break from 21 December to 1 January.
  • It is 10 teaching weeks, full-time: live online sessions Monday to Friday, plus in-person days in Oxford.
  • It is free if you are eligible, funded by the Department for Work and Pensions.
  • On completion you earn the NCFE Level 3 Certificate in Data.
  • No further Oxford cohorts are scheduled.

London Data Analytics Skills Bootcamp: register interest

Applications for the London cohort that started on 26 October closed on 15 October. No date for a next London cohort has been published. Register your interest at io-sphere.io/skills-bootcamp-data-analytics and we will email you if applications open. That cohort was free for eligible Londoners, funded by the Mayor of London, with no formal qualification.

Applied Diplomas: no cohorts scheduled

These are paid courses, not government funded, with no cohort scheduled:

  • the Applied Diploma in Data Analytics (NCFE Level 4 Diploma, Data Analyst, a Higher Technical Qualification or HTQ), 14 weeks full-time
  • its 28-week part-time version
  • the Applied Diploma in Data Engineering (NCFE Level 4), 14 weeks full-time
