Working at iO-Sphere

Every open role is listed at io-sphere.io/careers with its pay, and you apply through the form on the role's page.

Where roles are listed

The careers page lists coaching roles and team roles, in the UK and in Cape Town. If you saw one of our roles on LinkedIn, apply through the form on our website.

Some LinkedIn adverts, such as "Junior Data Analyst Fellowship", "Data Technician Fellowship" or "Trainee Data Analyst", are places on our free Skills Bootcamps, not jobs at iO-Sphere. Applications for them may be closed: see "Career-change courses: what's running now" or io-sphere.io/skills-bootcamps for what is open.

How to apply

Open the role and choose "Apply now". You will be asked for your details, your salary or rate expectation, your right to work and where you are based, and you can upload your CV (PDF or Word .docx, up to 10 MB).

We cannot offer visa sponsorship. If you say on the form that you would need sponsorship, your application closes automatically and we email you. Reply to that email if it is wrong, and a person will look again.

No coaching role fits? Join the coach register at io-sphere.io/careers/coaching/register and we will contact you when a programme matches your experience.

What happens next

We reply to every application, whether or not we take you forward. Most roles follow these steps, and each role page lists its own:

  1. Application review. Software helps us read CVs, and people make the decisions. The only exception is the automatic closure for visa sponsorship described above.
  2. A screening call of about 30 minutes.
  3. Interviews with the people you would work with, including a short work sample (a mini-teach for coaching roles or a case study for team roles), then a final interview with our Managing Director.
  4. An offer, followed by the checks listed on the careers page: identity and right to work, qualifications where the role needs them, references, overseas checks if you have lived or worked abroad, and, for roles working with learners, a criminal record check.

Following up

After you apply, we email you a sign-in link to your applicant page. There you can see where your application is, change your answers, replace your CV, withdraw, or change how long we keep your details. For anything else, email careers@io-sphere.io.
