Your bootcamp application step by step, and fixing common problems

The application has five stages and takes about half a day over two to three weeks. Most problems are fixed by using one email address throughout and replying to the admissions team's email.

The five stages

For the current cohort's closing date, interview window and offer date, see "Career-change courses: what's running now".

  1. Apply online. A short form (about five minutes), then a 15 to 20 minute questionnaire on your eligibility, availability and job-search plans. You only do the questionnaire once.
  2. Information session. We email you an invitation to a 45-minute online session to meet the team and see how the ten weeks run.
  3. Century assessments. We send a link to three online assessments, on a platform called Century, in maths, English and digital skills. Allow up to 90 minutes in total, in your own time. No preparation needed.
  4. Interview. 30 minutes online, at a time you book: a short group briefing, then a 15-minute conversation with a coach.
  5. Offer. Offers go out by the date given for your cohort.

Need adjustments, such as extra time? Tell us in the questionnaire. Your request is never used to decide your application.

Fixing common problems

  • No email from us. Check your spam folder. If nothing is there, email info@io-sphere.io and we'll pass it to the right person.
  • "We already have your application". You do not need to do it again. If an answer was wrong, reply to an admissions team email saying what to correct, and we will reopen it.
  • Told you are unlikely to be a fit, by mistake. Reply to the email confirming the outcome and we will look again.
  • Century link or login not working. Tell the admissions team: reply to any email from them, or email info@io-sphere.io.
  • Century still showing pending. Results are matched to your application by email address, so use the same address in Century as on your application. If you used a different one, send the admissions team both.
  • Wrong email address on your application. Tell the admissions team the right one.
  • No interview slots, or you cannot make the time. Reply to your interview invitation email.
  • A link says applications are closed. That cohort is no longer taking applications. See "Career-change courses: what's running now" for what is open, and register your interest for the next cohort there.
